Vocals, many times, are like those unsightly blemishes that seem to pop out at the most inopportune moments. If there is one thing you can say about director Kimberly Peirce, it's that she likes to keep things fresh and interesting. Childhood's End was originally published in 1953 and, alongside 2001: A Space Odyssey and Rendezvous with Rama, is one of Clarke's best-known novels. Their brilliant live show was intense with Devon Welsh's piercing gaze and da. Majical Cloudz weave a tragic, beautifully melancholy tale of lost innocence on "Childhood's End." Unfortunately for our narrator, things look bleak from the very start; "Someone died. MASTERWORKS) Book condition: Poor Condition (ex-library). Syfy has added another high-concept project to its development slate in the shape of producer Michael De Luca's four-hour miniseries based on Larry Niven's Ringworld, and Arthur C. Dark themes find an ideal vessel in the sparse beats and doleful strings of this first cut from the Canadian duo's debut. The cable outlet announced yesterday that it is developing mini-series based on Childhood's End and Ringworld. Syfy is looking to bring two more sci-fi classics to life on your TV screen.
